How to delete your account

In the Impact Idol app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompts.

On the web, sign in to your community site, then go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

If you can’t sign in, email [email protected] from your account’s email address and we’ll delete it.

What is deleted and kept

When you request deletion, your name and email are anonymized, your phone, bio, and photo are removed, your active sessions are revoked, and your chat account is deactivated.

Historical hours, registrations, and certificates are kept for nonprofit reporting and legal compliance.

Deleted accounts have a 90-day grace period before permanent deletion. Some consent and financial records may be kept for up to 7 years for legal reasons.

Shared chat photos and PDFs expire 365 days after upload, remain in a private archive for 180 more days, and are then deleted.
